PUMA kit the start of a new era

Last night Arsenal unveiled their brand new PUMA kits ahead of the coming season in a spectacular water projection on the River Thames. Gooners were given a glimpse of the Gunners’ new home, away and third strips in a live launch event, narrated by boss Arsene Wenger who seemed to be walking on water - I'm not sure what PUMA are inferring but I like it. Yesterday was a day that will live long in the memory of Gooners as Arsenal announced the signing of Alexis Sanchez who Arsenal will be hoping to catch sight of at the Emirates Cup in a classic red strip with white sleeves. You can get your hands on the new Arsenal kit here.

Arsenal are hoping to follow up the signing of Chilean superstar, Alexis Sanchez, with a replacement for the departed Bacary Sagna with the man who usurped him in the French national team, Mathieu Debuchy, a hair's breadth from joining up with compatriots Giroud, Koscielny and Wenger. Arsène Wenger is also looking to continue his love affair with another player from this generation of talented Germans by snapping up Sami Khedira from Real Madrid in his second swoop on the club in the past twelve months or younger compatriot, Lars Bender, who missed out on the World Cup due to injury.

Gooners will be treated to the current squad, new boy Sanchez and future signings in striking primary colours with PUMA opting for a 1989 inspired yellow with dark blue sleeves and a cup kit featuring diagonal shades of blue.

The PUMA cash was welcomed with fervour and fans salivated at the thought of our new financial power. Now Arsenal has flexed their transfer muscle and signed a player of the calibre of Sanchez they are practically salivating! Despite the promise of additional cash for new signings, having spent so long ambling along with a below market value deal with Nike to finance the stadium, some fans were worried what the PUMA kits would look like and if they would live up to expectations.

Well, the guys at PUMA have done their homework and have delivered three excellent kits the fans will be glad to spend their hard earned cash on. Keep it up PUMA!
